| We had them custom produced a few years because the original OEM mats were discontinued and no longer available. We spent considerable time with the manufacturer getting the fitment near perfect and the look comparable to OEM. I will agree that the OEM ones were made with a heavier backing material. We've went to considerable lengths to find the heaviest (most OEM like) backing possible for our mats and are using the best option we currently have. Even though the backing is lighter they still lay down quite nicely and do not curl or move like you might expect. We've sold a few hundred sets and this is the first time we've been accused to my knowledge of trying to misrepresent them as OEM mats. I do not know where you got that idea. I apologize for the confusion and you are welcome to return them.
